My food intake is going really well but I realised that on 25 WW points my lose would be minimal. As I am keen to get rid of my weight I have been saving my allowed 4 points per day as well as my exercise points. It will be interesting to see how much I lose this week.
I have been entering my food into Calorie King as well so I have a calorie count to take to my PT at the next session and he can see what my total calorie intake and expenditure is.
After talking to my WW Leader this Wednesday I have been trying to restrict my after dinner eating and have been boosting my meal points instead. Trying to eat 7 - 10 points after dinner and then going to bed was not changing any habits.

Exercising with Children
I was worried I wouldn't be able to get any exercise today as the children are home from school. I decided that a walk down town would be just the thing and even better two walks down town. It was fantastic. We went down to the library first and had a good time borrowing books and then we went home for lunch and walked down again in the afternoon to watch the "Alice in Wonderland" movie. The children were really tired after all that exercise. I burned 669 calories which was great. Walking is fantastic and we will be doing that again.
Busy Day
Today was really busy. It was shopping day and I thought I wasn't going to be able to do any exercise. I had morning tea out with a friend and chose the best thing on the menu to eat - raisin toast without butter or marg. It still cost me at the end of the day though - 225 cals. That is a lot.
I hate grocery shopping with a passion and it always seems to take me longer than I think. I didn't get home until 3pm - 15 minutes before the children. Eden was home so I jumped on my bike (flat tyre all fixed) and went for a ride. It was a good workout but because I was anxious about the time I went too fast and so I increased my fitness but didn't burn as many calories as I would have liked. I need to speak to my PT about this. I think as my fitness improves it is going to be a balancing act between fat burning and fitness.
I later went to the gym and it was time to increase my weights. I really felt it this week and my arms were killing me. I walked home afterward as I hate treadmills and would much prefer to be outdoors.

Keeping Track
I want to keep track of how I am going so my personal trainer can assess my progress and make sure I am getting the most out of my workouts. I have set up two spreadsheets. One shows my exercise and includes my heartrate and calories burned and the other shows my calorie intake and the calorie deficit I am achieving with my exercise.
I am aiming for at least an hour of exercise every day but it has got to be the right sort of exercise.

Riding in Big Town
The children had a sports carnival in a nearby town today and we decided to take our bikes with us. While they were getting fit and being active on the sports ground we burned some calories on our bikes. We were warned about catheads in the grass and so we decided to stay on the paths but .... I got one in my tyre anyway and it went flat but not until after I had finished and we were unloading the car at home. My legs were really sore and it was a challenge but it was great to be out in the fresh air exercising.
Weigh In Day
I am so happy I am now 116.1kgs. I lost 1.6kgs this week. I just want to keep on going until I am thin again. My goal is to lose 2kgs in this next week - can I do it. We shall see.
No Longer a Couch Potato
No PT session today so Eden asked me if I felt I was ready to ride to Mt Piper - about a 16km round trip. I decided I was game for it but then I felt nervous and asked him if he thought I could really do it. We did it. It took me about 2 hours and it was really hard. I thought I wasn't going to make it up some of the hills but I did. I am so proud of myself. If someone had asked me two months ago if I could ride to Mt Piper I would have said "In my dreams". I was a couch potato but not anymore.
Monday
I didn't get to Camp Ant today. I was feeling pretty tired and so I just went on a bike ride with Eden instead. I also did my weight session at the gym in the afternoon.

Tomorrow
I am going to the gym and doing the Camp Ant class. I will let you know if it is tough. I am very optimistic and am taking my bicycle so I can go for a ride around the lake when I have finished the class. I will have to take a photo tomorrow to post as the lake is really pretty.

Clothes Sizes
I have dropped a clothing size and am now a size 22. I can fit into a pair of jeans that I have not worn for a couple of years. I am very pleased. People are starting to notice that I am losing weight which is very nice. I raided my clothing bags under my bed and was able to pull out some size 22 clothes that I had stashed away. I have more size 20 than 22 so I am hoping that in a few more weeks I will be down to that size.
Fitness and Exercise
This week I have tried to exercise at least twice daily. I am slowly improving with my bike riding. Although on Friday I didn't do so well and had to stop a couple of times but I kept on going and made it to my goal.
We went bike riding with the children on Saturday and then Dougal and I went for a walk around the quarry. It was a lovely Autumn afternoon and very pleaseant to walk.
