Weight
I weighed myself last Wednesday (which is my weigh in day) and I weighed 113kgs. Tomorrow will be my next official weigh in and I will record it here. I am determined to keep on with my weight loss journey. I am tired of being overweight and struggling with my diabetes.
Where To Now - Diet
At the moment I am following a low carb plan as carbs were making me feel tired and gluggy. I am keeping to a 1600 cal limit and counting points. I haven't been to any WW meetings but I am intending to once I am feeling better.
Where To Now - Exercise
I am still feeling really tired all the time but I am taking supplements and trying to gain my health back. I cannot do any cardio work as I get puffed walking to the mailbox which is barely 50m from my front door! I have however been doing lots of research and last week I contacted my personal trainer and have started weekly sessions with him.
I am not doing any cardio work but I am just doing one session of high intensity weight training. This means that I am doing five sets of different exercises and working to failure on each one, which usually means only 5-8 reps. The idea is to help my insulin resistance and raise my metabolic rate.
I want to try and get my internal fire going so I can burn as much fat as possible. My next session is tomorrow and hopefully I will show some improvement in the weight I can lift.

What Has Been Happening
Well it is five months since my last post and five months since I have done anything about losing weight.
I didn't get to ride to Mt Piper and my head cold got worse. So much worse that I ended up with pneumonia and now I have post viral fatigue. The good news is that I have maintained my weight loss and have not put any weight back on and I am really happy about that.
