I went for a bike ride with Eden around the quarry - I didn't think I was going to make it. There are lots of hills and it is quite challenging. I am proud of myself though as I did it and only had to walk up one hill. I am looking forward to doing the challenge again and seeing my improvements each time I ride this circuit.
Eden did it effortlessly as he rides to work and is much fitter but I am still happy with my effort.
In the afternooon I went to the gym and did my weights. I am trying to make sure I do weight training 3 times a week. Weights are very important to speed up my metabolic process. I have a slow metabolism and am insulin resistant so I need lots of help.
It went well but I am looking forward to my PT session on Tuesday to talk about my exercise and how I can tweak it.
